The project in Dixon is developing as planned

In 2017 VostokСoal significantly increased the extraction of coal and anthracites. The total volume of production was 14.04 million tons. This is 37.6% more than in 2016.

Kiyzassky coal open pit mine produced 10 million tones of coal (in 2016 this figure was 7.59 million tons).

Vostochny anthracite open pit mine exceeded the production plan by 13.4% and produced 4.04 million tons of anthracite (in 2016 - 1.17 million tons).

The Dixon project in 2017 developed as planned. Upon the discovery of the coal deposit, the first exploration and production license was obtained for the Malolemberovskoye deposit, and preparations for the start of commercial production were carried out. Several batches of large-capacity test were sent to semi-industrial tests. The geological study of the areas continued, showing positive results at the 5 priority sites of the subsoil.

The shipment of the building materials for the construction of the cargo berth of the coal terminal "Chaika" continued last year as well.
